VDV Advent 2015

Christmas 2016 is upon us, so here is the collection of our advent days last year! I say this every year; but this is literally my favourite time of the year! I look forward to planning our holiday activities as early as the summer and start preparing in the fall. With the boys getting older, it just seems to get more fun!

Day 1: Decorating and making tennis ball reindeer! These are so cute!

Day 2: Draw a card. We chose a Christmas song to listen to and then drew a picture based on the song. All four of us made our own drawing, and then I used my Photoshop skills to add them all together for the image on our Christmas cards.

Day 3: Colour pictures and write letter to Santa.

Day 4: One of our giving days within our Advent calendar. Food bank items and donating gifts for my work's adopt-a-family recipients.

Day 5: Snowmen LED candle magnets! Love how cute these are!

Day 6: Holiday Lego creations

Day 7: Paper plate Santas!

Day 8: We love our teachers! Brought a collection of homemade goodies to Bug's school!

Day 9: Christmas breakfast for supper!

Day 10: Burlap twig reindeer ornaments. So cute!

Day 11: One of my favourite giving days! Our book giveaway to kids at the mall and getting pictures with Santa.

Day 12: Another giving day. Our "You've Been Jingled" door knob gift. Some hot chocolate, Christmas goodies and our signature ornament for their tree!

Day 13: We also love our health care workers! Brought some Elf Kisses to my co-workers!

Day 14: We made some Santa Bells! The boys loved this, and they were excited to ring the bells at the end of the day to say they've been good!

Day 15: Wrapped Candy Cane Reindeer. Another cute Christmas ornament!

Day 16: How cute is this take on the Christmas snow globe!

Day 17: Another one of my favourite giving days! Our ring 'n run! This year, we chose neighbours with a fur kid! So we filled our bag with some wrapping paper, tape, Christmas Hershey Kisses, hot chocolate and Christmas mugs, popcorn and movies, a gift card to Safeway to help with Christmas dinner and a little something special for their puppy!

Day 18: An addition to our Advent Days! Gave some Tim Horton's customers a little holiday cheer with gift cards.

Day 19: Family skating! And then we came home for some Food Colour water gun snow painting and our Snowman Hot Chocolate bath drinks!

Day 20: Our "You Deserve a Break" Kit Kat treat to the cashiers of our shopping endeavor!

Day 21: Baking day!

Day 22: Roll-a-snowman! Whoever builds a snowman first, wins! Well, both goobers got a new snowman stuffie!

Day 23: getting close to the big day, making Santa Toilet Paper Chimney decorations!

Day 24: Last but not least, Christmas movie and new pajama day!
Day 25: Christmas!
